I was aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown from 1962 until 1964. I was an AO (aviation ordinance) assinged to the GM (gunners mate)division. I enjoyed every minute I was aboard. I am looking for a friend; James Griffith who enlisted the same time as I in Port Arthur, Texas and also served aboard the U.S.S. Yorktown together. I would appreciate hearing from him.
